Smith Legend: Guild Base Update

First and foremost, we would like to thank every one of you for your incredible patience and the countless pieces of feedback you have shared with us. We know this update took a little longer than usual.

As you know, the Guild Base has been the only section marked as "Coming Soon" since the game launched. Because this is a massive, permanent system, we had to take our time to integrate it perfectly ensuring we do not disrupt the game's carefully balanced economy or diminish the value of your hard-earned progress. The great news is that we have already prepared the infrastructure for many future buildings, which will pave the way for much faster updates to this system moving forward. Thank you again for standing by us!

Today, we are thrilled to announce the details of the "Guild Base" update, which will bring a brand-new breath of fresh air to the game.

1. Guild Base: You Finally Have a Home!

The "Base" section in the Guild menu is no longer just a static page; it is transforming into a fully interactive, permanent area.

Togetherness: With the Guild Base, you will be able to see all your guild members' characters under the same roof in real-time.
Build and Upgrade: Guild leaders and officers can now upgrade guild buildings using gold coin donations and resources farmed by guild members. As the building levels increase, so do the bonuses they provide.
Expansion: We are starting with 6 active buildings in this first version, and we plan to reach a total of 10 buildings in future updates to make your guild life even more immersive.

2. New Farm Maps and Strategic Resource Gathering

Along with the Guild Base, we are introducing 5 different farm maps to our game world.

Collective Support: Resources gathered in these maps can be contributed directly to the Guild Treasury.
Mini-Rewards: As you complete these maps, you will earn mini random rewards based on the zones you progress through and the creatures you defeat.
Your Strategy, Your Choice: You have 3 daily entry rights. The choice is yours: Will you hunt for the highest rewards, or will you focus on gathering more resources for your guild? Remember, entry rights can be stacked and can also be obtained from various other places in the game!

3. Guild vs. Guild (4v4) System Is Here! (Beta)

One of the most exciting features of the Guild Base update is our first-ever 4v4 Guild vs. Guild system. Please note that this feature is currently in its Beta phase. Based directly on your feedback, we will be making numerous additions and significant improvements to the reward structures. Furthermore, this system is laying the groundwork for the massive-scale Guild vs. Guild wars coming in the future!

How It Works: When you start a match, 3 random characters from your guild join your side. You will be matched against 4 characters from a guild in a pool closest to your tier, regardless of individual power levels.
Intense Combat: In this 30-second action-packed battle, winners earn Reputation. You have 2 daily entries. Depending on how much you enjoy this system, we plan to introduce more detailed maps and various combat modes in the future.

4. Boss Fight: Climb the Ranks!

We are turning a new page in our individual boss fights.

Damage Accumulation: In this mode, which has 2 daily entries, the boss gains different defensive properties each day.
Phase Progression: As you overcome phases with the damage you deal to the boss, the amount of Reputation and Research Tokens you receive will increase incrementally. Strategize your build to climb the leaderboard!

5. Marketplace: Reap the Rewards of Your Labor

All the Reputation points you collect throughout the week within the Guild Base can be exchanged in the Marketplace for various currencies and tokens before the weekly reset. As your buildings level up, the variety of items available in the Marketplace will also expand.

6. New Weapon Upgrade System

We are introducing a highly requested feature to help you manage your inventory! You can now sacrifice your unused or unwanted equipment to upgrade the specific gear you want to enhance.

7. Meta, Content, and QoL Updates

PvP & QoL Improvements: We have been actively listening to your reports and have implemented numerous optimizations, bug fixes, and improvements specifically targeting issues players have been experiencing in PvP modes, alongside various other Quality of Life (QoL) enhancements.
New Wings: We are adding 8 new wings belonging to the brand-new Radiant class, featuring a higher rarity than the existing Mystic Wings!
New Skins: 10 brand-new skin styles are arriving to help you customize your characters. 6 of these skins will be obtainable through 3 different upcoming events.
Pet Meta: Physical damage bonuses have been added to 5 pets across 5 different rarities. Players focusing on physical builds can now benefit from these pets.
QoL Improvement (Forge): We have added an option to automatically pause the Forge system if your inventory becomes full.

⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Guild Contributions

To ensure fairness and prevent system exploitation, we are implementing a new rule regarding guild hopping:

The Rule: If a player joins a guild (e.g., Guild A), leaves, and then rejoins that same guild (Guild A), they will be unable to contribute Guild Points to that guild for 1 week. (You will, however, still be able to earn your personal progression rewards).
Effective Immediately: This system will run automatically once the update goes live. However, this rule is officially active as of today, July 14, 2026.
Manual Enforcement: Until the update drops, our team will be manually reviewing reports. Any players found maliciously manipulating the system will have their illicitly gained contribution points permanently deleted.

When Is It Coming?

We are planning to release this massive update on Monday, July 20. In the event of any unforeseen hiccups, the update will be live no later than Tuesday, July 21.

Until the new update arrives, the Soul Mate event will be active! The event will begin on July 14 at 00:00 (Server Time).
