Smith Legend: August QoL Update

First and foremost, we would like to thank our incredible community for your continuous feedback and support. For this update, we took the opportunity to focus heavily on server-side optimizations and addressing the reports you’ve shared with us. Our main goal with this patch is to introduce Quality of Life (QoL) improvements that will help you manage your time in the game much more effectively and enjoy a smoother experience overall.

Today, we are thrilled to share the details of the upcoming August QoL Update!

1. Preset System: Seamless Build Switching

With the upcoming update, you will be able to save up to 7 different equipment sets and switch between your customized builds with a single click!

  • How It Works: Please note that this is not a separate inventory space. When you switch to a different build, the items from your previous preset are automatically locked and safely moved to your stash, while the items for your new build are instantly equipped from the stash.

  • Versatility: This system is designed to help you quickly swap between different build sets for various scenarios (PvP, Bosses, Farming) without the hassle of manual inventory management.

2. From DPS to Battle Power (BP)

We are officially retiring the term "DPS" in the game and replacing it with Battle Power (BP).

  • Comprehensive Stats: With this change, all of your stats—including defensive stats (excluding utility stats like Luck and Gold Income)—will now directly contribute to your overall BP.

  • Accurate Rankings: This adjustment will provide a much more accurate, stable, and true representation of your character's strength for comparisons and across all leaderboards.

3. Guild Base Enhancements

  • The Billboard Building: We’ve added a brand-new Billboard building to the Guild Base! Guild leaders and officers can now use this space to write and display long, detailed announcements for all members to read.

  • Fast Travel: To help you navigate the Guild Base effortlessly, we’ve introduced a new teleportation system. Getting to your favorite buildings has never been faster!

4. Expansion, Events, and Fixes

  • New Cosmetics & Customization: Express yourself with 6 brand-new skins, 10 new profile frames, and 14 new character icons added to the game!

  • Inventory Expansion: We have increased the maximum inventory capacity to 48 slots.

  • New Event: Get ready for the brand-new Miner Event!

  • Gifting System: A new Gift system has been integrated into the Packages section.

  • Visual & Bug Fixes: We have completely resolved the visual glitches reported in the Merge and Stash systems, alongside addressing various other bugs reported by the community.

  • Server Enhancements: Server-side improvements have been made to ensure a highly stable and optimized connection.

When Is It Coming?

We expect to roll out the August QoL Update towards the end of this month. We will share the exact release date and time with you one day before the update goes live, so keep an eye on the announcements!
